Concept and Story Creation
Tara, a cartoon stripe narrating Early Childhood Development in a simplified manner. The collaboration between the Maharashtra Government, UNICEF and Sakal media. A total 75 stories written and published in 2023 and 2024.
Tara is a 3-year-old girl from the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. She is a prodigy, a wonderful singer, orator and has an IQ of 140 +. Tara is who she is because she got the right nutrition, stimulation, nurturing care and family love that gave her the best start in life. Having loving parents who encouraged her to explore the world and provided her with plenty of opportunities to learn, she is very confident and cheerful. Her nutrition and health were also very well looked after because of which she is in excellent form. Being such a happy and playful child, she is friends with many and attracts a lot of attention from nearby villages. She is looked upon as an aspirational child for new parents and soon-to-be parents.
Teaming up with Aabha Tai, an Anganwadi worker, Tara goes about spreading awareness on the primary tenets of Early Childhood Development.
